Recovery on Water (ROW) operates from the Eleanor Boathouse in Chicago’s Bridgeport community. Today, ROW Chicago offers year-round practices both on the water and off for athletes of all levels and interests.

Water Season
(April-October)

The masters water season is for team members who have experience on the water and have completed a full novice season. For new rowers, the novice water season begins with mandatory learn to row sessions. Both masters and novice athletes are expected to attend practice on a regular basis. All water practices are hosted at the Eleanor Boathouse at Chicago Park No. 571.

  • Novice Water Practice

    • Tuesdays 6:00-8:00pm

    • Sundays 10:30am-12:30pm

  • Masters Water Practice

    • Thursdays 6:00-8:00pm

    • Sundays 8:00-10:00am


Indoor Practice Schedule (Year Round)

All indoor practices are hosted at the ROW erg loft, which is located at 1010 W. 35th Street (inside the CubeSmart building) on the sixth floor.

  • Monday, 6:00-7:00pm

  • Wednesday, 6:00-7:00pm
